King Denovan was the king of Mercia. He was well known for his exploits against the vampire legions from the east and the victories he accomplished against them. His sons as well as his loving wife were thought to be dead by the Red Plague that has swept over his kingdom for a time.
Biography[]
ACT I - Kingdom of Ashes[]
With him becoming old, King Denovan grew doubtful of his advisors and colleagues, he labelled them as corrupt mongrels who would seek to claim his throne. He entrusted his kingdom to his one and only friend, the power hungry prime minister of Mercia, Invictus.
King Denovan is believed to have passed away a few months afterwards.
